The Legend of John Edwards
Submitted by gagaekeh on Mon, 2008-08-11 23:07.I am not a fan of guile. But I've grown into an adult and I am relentlessly informed, reminded, that the adult world is all guile. That "the American people," those poor, inattentive, ruthlessly manipulated children, were to be shielded from the Straussian society of those who know better...
Thoughts on Nollywood
Submitted by admin on Mon, 2008-02-04 16:30.Indeed, the issue of how Nollywood movies affect us Black people has been on my mind for a while.

He-she is said to know a thing or two about the runway, something empiricists would scoff at. No ugly one has ever been a top model. Forget next. Seen? And yet, Tyra, with her knobbly knees, whose own hideousness was emblazoned across the internet entitled--yew ain't gouwn belie dis shit (she was without make up and thirty pounds overweight)--demonstrates, week
oo, don dada, oo run tings?
Submitted by gagaekeh on Mon, 2007-12-03 04:20.So I'm celebrating today. It's not my first... event in the music industry. It's merely the largest yet, and it won't get larger than this. So I'm celebrating. Had I the common sense of common people, I'd be in Brooklyn trying to cajole Sister Emanuella to make me some moist wollof. Instead it is the middle of the night and I'm wondering just what rastaman would think... just what he would say if I rang his doorbell at this time asking him for a beef patty. I'd get it, I'm sure. I'd certainly get it.

Submitted by admin on Thu, 2007-11-01 17:21.Why must all the good ones go in violence?
Nigeria: Lucky Dube (1964 - 2007) - Before he was murdered during an attempted car hijacking in Johannesburg on October 18, Lucky Philip Dube, South Africa's world acclaimed reggae artiste, had put an indelible stamp on not only the minds of millions of music lovers across the globe but also on the psyche of those who cherish the virtues of equality, justice and the communality of the human race.
